Rubbing their hands with glee

Can you hear them jangling? Gaddafi is still on the loose, water, food and medicines are in desperately short supply in Tripoli, but everything is right with the world: there's money to be made.

Not content with arming most of the world's tyrants and pirates, the British defence industry is now ready to do it all over again to the other side, salivating over the prospect. Brilliant, isn't it? You get double the profits by supplying both sides, in the knowledge that it'll probably happen all over again in a few years time.

I think I'll buy some shares in Kalashnikov PLC.
